The chapter meets regularly at 7 pm on the 2nd Wednesday of the month in the Silver Spring Civic Building at 1 Veterans Plaza, Silver Spring 20910.
Our meetings are open, and all are welcome to participate. We focus on civil rights and civil liberties issues on a local scale, including:

- Criminal Justice
- Police Accountability & Transparency
- Freedom of speech and expression
- Racial justice
- Educational opportunity and equality
- Voting rights
- Privacy and reproductive rights
- Gender and orientation equality
