Carla Paisley is a multi-state and internationally licensed Social Worker and private psychotherapist. She currently works as a Clinical Program Manager in support of unaccompanied youth arriving in the United States who are seeking reunification with current resident family members and sponsors.
Her work in immigration and refugee policy has enabled her to serve as an advocate, interpreter, community liaison, educator, and clinician. Her work as a private clinician keeps her well connected to the immediate and long-term needs of individuals and families seeking strength-based therapeutic intervention and culturally sensitive care.
Carla is an active Baltimore resident and is passionate about the city arts landscape, access to informed mental health care and raising a generation of culturally aware young adults who are empowered to further the reach of social justice and equality.
