Maryland legislators have been hosting meetings, briefings and hearings over the past several months on various police transparency and accountability reforms. It’s time for the community to speak for ourselves about what we demand of the Maryland General Assembly in our fight to end police brutality and abuse.
This hearing will be led by directly impacted families and communities, who are demanding that legislators pass a package of five critical statewide reforms. Sean Yoes, author and journalist at The Afro, will be the host for the event.
