On September 30 at 7 p.m. (ET), Yanet Amanuel, ACLU of Maryland's public policy advocate, will speak at a forum on Police Reform hosted by Victory Grace Center's Social Justice Ministry (SJM).
Yanet Amanuel supports coalitions and monitors pertinent legislation that impacts civil liberties. Yanet co-led the Maryland Coalition for Justice and Police Accountability and legislative advocacy to repeal the Law Enforcement Officers Bill of Rights and reform the Maryland Public Information Act to allow public discourse of police misconduct records. During this forum she will educate VGC family and friends and continue to engage us on this critical social justice issue.
