Join us this Saturday, May 14, from 12-2 p.m. for a rally at the War Memorial in front of Baltimore City Hall and then to march to the William Donald Schaefer Building (6 St. Paul St.).
Maryland is poised to be a key state for providing abortion access to people across the country. Governor Hogan has the ability to release these critical funding to train additional providers before the new law the General Assembly passed goes into effect on July 1, but so far he has refused. We will rally and march to demand that Governor Hogan release the $3.5 million provided by the Abortion Care Access Act to train qualified health care practitioners in abortion care.
Can't make it to Baltimore but still want to join in the mass mobilization this Saturday? The event page on our website also has information for a few other ways to get active:
- Take action to end forced pregnancy.
- Check to see if there is a rally close to you in Maryland or elsewhere.
- Share our abortion rights posts on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, and tag your legislators.
