Join us during the 2024 Maryland General Assembly, as we advocate with fellow Marylanders in our state’s capital. This statewide grassroots lobbying depends on your leadership.
We are partnering with Maryland Youth Justice Coalition, Jews United for Justice, the Baltimore Algebra Project, the Maryland Second Look Coalition, Fenix Youth Project, Racial Justice NOW!, Brotherly Love, Young People for Progress, Advanced Maryland, and more to push for equitable children’s rights policies this session. Together, we can lift up the humanity of all children and call for an end to racist mass incarceration in Maryland.
When: Monday, February 19 (Presidents' Day), 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Where: St. Anne’s Parish, 199 Duke of Gloucester St,, Annapolis, MD 21041
What:
- We’ll begin with an orientation/dinner.
- Hold a rally at Lawyer's Mall.
- Conclude with constituent meetings with our elected representatives in their offices!
Make sure to RSVP so we can plan food, materials, and accommodations accordingly.
During Lobby Day, you can expect to meet with like-minded activists and leaders who will prepare you to meet with your representatives. Hear from legislative and engagement experts on efforts to enact changes for our children across the state. We need you, your family members, and your neighbors to make your voices and experiences heard in our State Capital in 2024.
