Free the Vote, ACLU of Maryland’s new documentary, was selected for the Columbia Film Festival! We’re honored our powerful documentary was selected and hope you will show your support for the film and join us at the film festival screening.
In Free the Vote, you will hear why restoring the right to vote to people who are incarcerated is so important and vital to a democracy. You will hear directly from people who are formerly incarcerated and actively advocating for the rights of people who are currently and formerly incarcerated.
Come listen to these human stories and learn about the history of voter disenfranchisement. Even if you saw the film at our advance screening this past December, we hope to see you at the Columbia Film Festival screening.
