The chapter meets regularly at 7:30 pm on the 4th Wednesday of the month in the Silver Spring Civic Building at 1 Veterans Plaza, Silver Spring 20910.

Our next meeting will be on Wednesday, January 24 at 7:30pm. The assault on immigrants, free speech, and civil liberties continues...and so we continue to oppose discrimination and fight back!

Our meetings are open, and all are welcome to participate.  We focus on civil rights and civil liberties issues on a local scale, including:

  • Religious liberty
  • Freedom of speech and expression
  • Nondiscriminatory policing
  • Racial justice
  • Educational opportunity and equality
  • Proposed curfews
  • Equal access to public facilities
  • Voting rights
  • Privacy and reproductive rights
  • Gender and orientation equality
